Optimum frequency response with decentralized drivers in power system

This document presents a novel methodology to optimize the power system frequency response based on implementation of decentralized controllers. The proposed method focuses control internal rotor angle in selected generator, which allows its governor act as controller that requires input local measurements. Through optimization process, it is first possible establish set optimal parameters for each and, second, determine required phasor measurement units (PMUs) and their locations are necessary be installed system. comprehensive proposal time domain evaluation when multiple scenarios deviations between demand generation occur. Finally, new applied IEEE 39-bus test validate advantages; this, well controllers implemented DIgSILENT PowerFactory, along with Python manage process.
